Q: How do I network Assistant/Assistant Pro and do I need more licenses?
A: Networking these programs is easier than ever, however it will require a Network license to be purchased from CIS if you do not have one. If you copy your work database, and the archive database to the network area you wish it to reside on; you can then set the location of where those databases are located by opening the program up and choosing the Set Location button. If you do not have a network license, you will only be able to access the database from one computer at a time. To purchase a network license, contact the Support group at CIS and they will put you with a sales representative.
