FAQ's

Q: How often should I back up my data and how should I do it?
A: CIS recommends a daily backup routine. If this is not feasible, ask yourself how much work you want to have to re-do if something happens. As for how to backup your database, you can do a local backup meaning that it is stored on the computer you run the backup on. This is recommended prior to running a random selection or importing a personnel file only. The better option is for you to copy the database to a safe location on your network or a backup device. Contact your IT person to assist you with this process.
